so i recently discovered that my two necklace donations for the Breast Bridge Networks' silent auction, went over well.
combined (with some monetary matching of dollars by the lovely doctors that participate as well) i raised $5,000 for the good cause!
it's quite thrilling, i feel blessed to have even been a tiny, minute part of this great network. knowing that this money will go directly to women who truely need help, those that have unusual and expensive breast cancer issues that their insurance won't cover, or they need to go to a special doctor who has the more advanced technology and equipment.
hooray for healthy boobies!
