newest addition

i decided to name this series Ailette.
this series began as a dream (as described in the previous post), and as these rings took shape beneath my fingers, they reminded me of some sort of battered and beaten, yet still beautiful medieval armour.
some google research later...the word ailette reached out to me and stuck. an ailette, is a typically flat portion of armour, used to protect the shoulder region...although there is some argument as to whether they actually enhanced protection to the neck, or were purely used for decoration purposes.
they are now posted in my etsy shop!

it does look a ton like mookaite, and i do know that it's jasper...the seller wasn't very clear as to what type of jasper it was, but i fell in love with it and had to have it regardless! so yes, i'll say its mookaite ;o)
