too much, just too much.

so i decided to just go with the organic mussed up lines and squiggles i was ranting about in my previous post, and i thought i'd just patina a them a little brown and then tumble and burnish the highlights in. well, first time with the midas black/brown patina at 5% dilution...5 seconds in turned the pieces BLACK! it was about this time that i wanted to throw them across my garage, but sat a minute on the cold concrete and collected myself. now i am on to the tumbler to determine if i'll be able to salvage these! i'm too embarrassed of the photos i took of these in their current state...so i'll repost with some pics probably tomorrow, to let you know the outcome!
